I went to the show but left after the first band. The house is quiet and finally the whirling in my head has subsided long enough to get something done. I am not looking for distractions tonight. Low on the stereo, a new can of copper spraypaint. The stencil is sticky and I am taking a break, letting 40 postcards dry on a clothesline across my porch. One hundred to go. My fingernails are coated copper and I hope I can get it off before I go to school tomorrow. Moreso, I hope the stencil holds out so I can finish this layer so I can add another and get these in the mail on time.
